Elisabeth Fischer is a doctoral candidate in history at Humboldt University in Berlin.
For her B.A. and Master's degrees, she has studied early modern history in Potsdam, Dublin and Berlin. Her dissertation centres on female mystics in southern Germany during the 18th century. Her main fields of interests are as follows: religious history, female mysticism, women and gender studies, and cultural history.
