Francesca Mattei is post-doc researcher in Politecnico di Milano. She obtained the degree in Architecture (IUAV University of Venice, 2006), the Master in Architectural History (University of Roma Tre, 2008) and the PhD in History of Architecture and Urbanism (IUAV University of Venice, 2012).
In 2015 she received the National Qualification as Associate Professor of History of architecture (Italian Ministry of Education). She published the book Eterodossia e vitruvianesimo. Palazzo Naselli a Ferrara (1527-1538), and several articles on the relation between architecture and religion during the Renaissance.
